Created in 1971 at the joint initiative of the Paris City Council and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau is a non-profit making association that gathers more than 2,000 Paris tourist industry professionals. 
The Bureau welcomes and gives information to tourists in Paris via its five permanent offices and via its website parisinfo.com; it promotes the French capital in France and abroad.

The Convention Bureau represents the destination, in connection with the services of the City, the Region and the State.
