The job of the professional congress organizer. The professional congress organizer (PCO) is responsible for managing the overall budget, which includes any service performed by the organizer or delegated to a third party (particularly to an incoming agency, a public relations agency or the like). The PCOs duties include the following:

Preparation of an activity report and the keeping of an administrative and financial record for all activities related to the congress:

Taxation and insurance consultancy services Account-keeping Bank verifications Scientific secretarial work Requests for papers Management of abstracts Management of e-communications	Management of publications Coordination of speakers Search for sponsors, sale of exhibition space and services, invoicing and follow-up Support and assistance for committees (scientific committee, organization committee etc.)
