The Paris Région Innovation laboratory tests innovative solutions in France in digital, green-tech, finance and digital publishing sectors. Research and higher education centres such as the Institute of vision, and, the Institute of the brain and the marrow develop incubators that encourage the creation of businesses in close connection with research. In the Paris region, 8 competitive clusters associate businesses, research centres and training centres, in order to create synergies for innovative projects.

As for Paris Capitale de la Création, which gathers twenty or so professional trade shows specializing in the fashion sector, it contributes to making Paris the most important international platform for creation.
