A wide range of accommodation, tailored to every event |

|

Paris stands out from its rivals due to its well-balanced, abundant and eclectic accommodation offer – from luxury palaces to small local hotels, from big chain hotels to charming design hotels.
Hotel residences, Bed & Breakfasts, youth hostels and furnished apartment rentals complete the offer. Since 2009, French hotels and tourist residences have been re-classified – from 1* to 5*, according to 246 criteria. 77% of Parisian hotels are ranked 2* or 3*. Since June 2011, establishments that are truly exceptional are awarded the prestigious distinction ‘Palace’.
Paris’s luxury accommodation offer is being renovated and developed, notably with the arrival of major chains from Asia. Parisian hotels have a high occupancy level, but remain competitive compared with 20 major world tourist cities, in the mid-price range. In order to meet the increase in demand, the City of Paris plans to create 7,000 new guest rooms (notably in large capacity 2* and 3* hotels) between now and 2020.
To facilitate the organization of an event, independent or booking centres belonging to chain hotels, as well as several incoming agencies provide a service for bookings, the negotiation of quotas and managing of guest rooms.

|
The Charter for the hosting of major professional events offers non-profit-making organizations attractive conditions for congresses of more than 1,000 participants. Signed by the Paris City Council, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau and 15 Parisian hotel groups representing 60,000 guest rooms, it guarantees any organizer a minimum number of sales conditions in terms of accommodation, follow-up and personalized welcome for visitors (letters of support, signage, welcome messages, receptions at the reception rooms of the City Hall, etc.).
This Charter rounds off a global welcome and hospitality initiative.
